Hundreds more products now part of a long-term Lower Shelf Price commitment, delivering ongoing dependable everyday value to customers
Woolworths customers will have saved more than $50 million^ since Lower Shelf Price was introduced in May
Latest investment drops the price of another 100+ family favourites including rice, pasta sauce and muesli bars with an average saving of about 14 per cent* across the newly added items
Tuesday 19 August 2025 – Woolworths has reinforced its long-term commitment to delivering more everyday value for Australian families by expanding the number of popular grocery products with a Lower Shelf Price.
More than 100 new products will be added from this month, taking the total to almost 700 with Lower Shelf Prices.
This latest investment will see the shelf price of newly included family essential products fall by an average of about 14 percent*. Overall, across the total basket of the new 100+ products added to Lower Shelf Price this month, customers could save up to $110**.
Since launching in May, Lower Shelf Price will have saved customers more than $50 million by the end of this month, compared to the original shelf prices^.
