Thursday, 17 July 2014: Woolworths supermarkets experienced a computer glitch across its stores this afternoon for a short period.
The glitch affected stores in New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania only. We understand fewer than 20 stores stopped trading, and even then just for a few minutes while they got confirmation from IT that the issue was resolved.
The problem was resolved quickly and all stores are now trading normally.
Woolworths apologises for any inconvenience to our customers.
