In 2017, Woolworths donated over 115 000 World Explorers Maps from their collectibles campaign to support World Vision’s education programming in vulnerable contexts. An additional 31 000 maps are currently awaiting shipment from the World Vision Australia warehouse.
The Woolworths World Explorer Maps was sent around the world and distributed to schools, early learning centres and Child Friendly Spaces in countries across Africa and the Middle East. The maps have been integrated into existing Education programming and have been a vital resource for children to learn, grow and thrive.
